The Renewal

The Renewal creates an empowering post-birth support network for struggling mothers. Strong relationships are formed over sharing similar experiences through unconventional recovery methods enforced through discussion and biophilic design principles. The Renewal becomes a haven where mothers bond over activities that encourage self-development and subconsciously enforce social interaction that allows comfortability in expression and creating new connections and foundations.

Post Natal Depression is a common yet vulnerable topic of discission for mothers. Regardless of its one in five startling statistics and common diagnosis, an alarming issue arises as these vulnerable women are uneducated in finding how and/or where to seek support,
guidance, and the ability to confide in their difficulties. There are limited numbers of healthcare facilities that offer complete support and service for PND within Brisbane. But most importantly, mothers suffering from PND aren’t suited to be placed into the mental health category due to its normality within motherhood.
