The QUT graduating students of 2021 acknowledge and pay deep respects to the First Nations owners of the multiplicity of lands within which their projects are situated. Interior design is a profession that is concerned with the design and production of safe, functional, aesthetically pleasing and contextually sensitive interior environments. Interior designers combine their technical knowledge of construction, services and codes with theoretical knowledge of how people interact with their environments physiologically, psychologically, socially and ecologically. Our graduates embody these attributes by developing complex briefs through research and delivering innovative solutions and outcomes.
